1. Overview
Globi Explore, Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) values intellectual property (IP) rights and expects all users to respect the IP of others, including copyrights, trademarks, and other proprietary content.
This policy outlines how we handle IP on the platform and what happens if those rights are violated.
2. Globi Explore’s Intellectual Property
All content created by Globi Explore, including but not limited to:
- The platform’s design, layout, and code
- Logos, branding, and trademarks (e.g., “Globi Explore”)
- Text, graphics, and promotional materials
is owned by Globi Explore, Inc. and protected by U.S. and international copyright and trademark laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or use our IP without explicit written permission from us.
3. User-Generated Content
When you upload content to Globi Explore (e.g., posts, photos, tour descriptions, product listings):
- You retain ownership of your original content.
- You grant Globi Explore a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content for platform purposes (e.g., promotion, moderation).
- You confirm that you own the content or have the right to use and share it.
You may not upload content that infringes on someone else’s IP rights.
4. Prohibited Actions
We do not allow:
- Copying or reproducing copyrighted material without permission (e.g., photos, text, music)
- Using someone else’s trademark or logo without authorization
- Selling counterfeit or pirated goods in the marketplace
- Scraping, reverse-engineering, or stealing Globi Explore’s code or design
Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or legal action.
5. Reporting IP Violations
If you believe your intellectual property has been infringed on Globi Explore:
- Email us at ip@globiexplore.com with the following:
- Your name, contact info, and proof of ownership (e.g., copyright registration, trademark number)
- A description of the infringing content and its location on the platform
- A statement that you believe the use is unauthorized
We will investigate and take action within a reasonable timeframe.
6. DMCA Compliance
Globi Explore complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA):
- We will remove infringing content upon valid notice.
- Users who repeatedly infringe may have their accounts terminated.
- Counter-notices can be filed by emailing ip@globiexplore.com if you believe content was removed in error.
All notices must meet DMCA requirements to be processed.
7. Marketplace-Specific Rules
Sellers must ensure that all products listed:
- Are original or legally licensed
- Do not violate third-party trademarks, patents, or copyrights
- Are not counterfeit or knock-off items
Violations will result in listing removal and possible account suspension.
8. Enforcement
If we detect or receive a report of IP infringement:
- We may remove the content without prior notice.
- We may suspend or ban the offending user.
- We may cooperate with legal authorities or rights holders as required.
9. Your Responsibility
You agree to:
- Respect the IP rights of Globi Explore and other users
- Only upload content you have the right to use
- Indemnify Globi Explore against claims arising from your IP violations
